Marc Anthony has spoken up about the tweets directed at him by baseball fans after he performed the national anthem at the MLB All-Star game. The Puerto Rican American singer sang "God Bless America" on Tuesday and then received tweets that questioned his citizenship. One user said, "Welcome to america, where god bless america is sung at our national pastime by a mexican." Marc responded on Live! With Kelly and Michael yesterday and said, "There were some statements made that people were upset that they would have someone from another country sing the national anthem. Let's get this straight. I was born and raised in New York. You can't get more New York than me."
