Lindsay's Lawyer Quits

The rollercoaster ride that has become Lindsay Lohan's legal trouble has taken yet another twist. Shawn Holley, Lindsay's long-time but recently fired and rehired attorney, has decided to step down as the actress' legal representation.  Last week it was reported that Lindsay had fired Shawn and hired a New York lawyer who is not licensed to practice in California. TMZ has since learned that Holley started filling out the paperwork and acquiring the signatures necessary to remove herself from Lindsay's probation violation case. According to sources, Lindsay tried to get Holley back after firing her but now it seems that Lilo's legal savior wants nothing more to do with the troubled actress.  Mark Heller, the lawyer initially hired to replace Shawn Holley, can only represent Lindsay if he can find a sponsor who is admitted to practice law in California. Lindsay Berger Sacks is the sponsor Heller found to back him but she has not practiced law in California since 1996. She apparently reactivated her membership to the California Bar Association last week.  Lilo reportedly still owes Holley a ton of money for past legal help.  Lindsay has her probation violation hearing scheduled for January 30th. It is rumored that Shawn was in the process of negotiating a deal for her client before all of the lawyer swapping began.
