Rumor has it that Jessica and Ashlee Simpson are at odds over the recent separation of their parents and the fact that their father may be gay.  Jessica is siding with her mother because she believes that her father has put on a show for many years and thinks it wasn't fair to do that to her mother.  Ashlee, on the other hand, is happy her father came out of the closet and thinks that her mother is to blame for years of neglect.  The two girls can't agree on who the victim is and Jessica is vowing to stand by her mother and support her in her time of need.
