Joe and Tina Simpson, parents to Jessica and Ashlee -- are getting a divorce after 35 years of marriage. According to Us Weekly, the couple filed papers in Texas in September. The statement said, "Tina and Joe Simpson have filed for divorce. It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time." However, rumors are swirling that the divorce is not very amicable at all. According to The National Enquirer, Papa Joe, a longtime pastor and manager to Jessica and Ashlee, is reportedly gay. He was arrested for DUI over the summer and reportedly there was his 20 year-old boyfriend in the car. Joe reportedly told his family about his love for men a few months ago, which is what prompted the divorce.
