Today Show Skips Moment Of Silence For Kris Jenner Interview

The Today show did little to help its floundering reputation on Tuesday (September 11th), when it decided not to air footage of President Obama leading the White House in a moment of silence -- in favor of an interview with Kris Jenner.  As has been the case in the past decade, on Tuesday a moment of silence was observed at 8:46 a.m., marking the time that the first plane hit the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. While most of the major networks -- including ABC -- broke programming to carry it, NBC continued on as Jenner discussed her breast implants.
