Alec Baldwin's 16-year-old daughter Ireland has opened up about her dad's infamous 2007 voicemail, in which he called her "a rude, thoughtless, little pig." The leaked voicemail became headlines news and resulted in Alec temporarily losing his visitation rights. Ireland's mother is Baldwin's ex-wife Kim Basigner. Ireland reflected on the incident to Page Six Magazine, saying, "The only problem with that voice mail was that people made it out to be a way bigger deal than it was. He's said stuff like that before just because he's frustrated." She added, "For me it was like, 'OK, whatever.' I called him back I was like, 'Sorry Dad, I didn't have my phone.' That was it." Ireland said that the incident is so much of a non-issue, she and Alec "almost did something funny on YouTube, of me calling him and yelling at him." As for what the teen thinks of her new stepmom, Hilaria Thomas? "Hilaria and I are really close. She's like a big sister to me, but I feel like I haven't spent enough time with her yet. We joke around, and I call her 'Mom.' But I respect her, it's not like I'm 'Parent Trap'-ping her, setting up booby traps in her room." In clip one from the voice mail obtained by TMZ.com, Baldwin said: "I'm leaving this message with you to tell you you have insulted me for the last time. You have insulted me. You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being. I don't give a damn that you're 12 years old or 11 years old or that you're a child, or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the a** who doesn't care about what you do as far as I'm concerned. You have humiliated me for the last time with this phone." In clip two from the message obtained by TMZ.com, Baldwin told his daughter: "I am going to get on a plane and I'm going to come out there for the day and I'm going to straighten your a** out when I see you. DO you understand me? I'm going to make sure you get it. Then I'm going to get on a plane. Then I'm going to turn around, and then I'm gonna come home. So you better ready the 20th to meet with me so I'm going to let you know just how I feel about what a rude little pig you are. You are a rude, thoughtless little pig."
