I don't have to tell you that the eight-hour, nine-to-five workday with an hour for lunch is DEAD... or maybe that's just for me :(
Anyways, here's the results here from a new study that figured out the ACTUAL hours and lifestyle of the average worker. Check it out to see if you're above or below average.
--The average office worker starts at 8:09 A.M. and leaves at 5:22 P.M.
--That means the average workday is now nine hours, 13 minutes.
--The average person leaves home at 7:49 A.M. and has a commute that lasts 20 minutes and 41 seconds. The commute home takes 33 minutes and 46 seconds.
--It takes 12 minutes before the first conversation with a coworker, at 8:21 A.M.
--The average worker takes a 28-minute lunch break.
--And spends an average of $5 on lunch.
--Only 7% go outside for some fresh air during lunch.
--The average worker drinks three cups of coffee a day.
--We average one argument with a coworker daily.
--The average worker sends 26 emails a day and receives 32.
--And finally, the average worker spends 10 minutes and 15 seconds on Facebook during the workday.
Beyonce gave birth to a baby girl in New York on Saturday, according to various outlets, including Good Morning Americaand her hometown paper, the Houston Chronicle, which reported that "baby and mom are doing just fine." GMA reports the superstar gave birth via C-section.
"Welcome to the world, Blue," Beyonce and Jay-Z's close friend Gwyneth Paltrow tweeted Sunday. "We love you already."
The actress also answered a "confused" fan who asked if the infant's name is "Ivy Blue or Blue Ivy," saying, "It's Blue Ivy!'
According to GMA, the couple chose "Ivy" because of the significance of the number "4" or "IV," -- Beyonce and Jay-Z were born on Sept. 4 and Dec. 4, respectively, were married on April 4, 2008, and Beyonce's latest album is entitled 4.)
Did you call it or did you think they'd have a boy?
What do you think of the name?
Right or wrong, I'm always underwhelmed with celebs baby names. Either way, Blue Ivy is already set for the rest of her life in terms of finances and fame!
I was just getting ready to leave home last Saturday (Dec 10) around 7 pm when ESPN announced breaking news... "Milwaukee Brewers star Ryan Braun has reportedly failed a test for a banned substance"... WHAT?!?
Like many of you, I felt shocked to the point that I actually had to rewind my DVR because I thought I heard the TV wrong, sadly I didn't.
Even worse, almost immediately many of you were on Facebook beating Ryan up. Why? Aren't we going to wait for the entire story, or is this just a GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INNOCENT society?!? Further more, I'm willing to bet many of these people were the ones riding Brauny's cape for the past year during the storied season not only he, but the team had!
All I'm saying is that Ryan has given us nothing but his best since he's been here, he's been a model member of the community and teammate so don't you think he deserves the benefit of the doubt until we get all the facts???
If you took part in Cyber Monday than you were a part of making history!
After a record setting Black Friday weekend, $1.25 billion was spent on Cyber Monday, making it the biggest online shopping day ever!
Now if you didn't hear me say it on the air, I DID NOT partake in either, because last year I actually caught great deals in December WITHOUT freezing my rear off in line at midnight on Black Friday.
Did you go out for Black Friday? What about Cyber Monday?
I personally feel like Black Friday (though it was record setting) will eventually go away and we'll just see deals Thanksgiving Weekend and Cyber Monday will be an entire week. What do you think?
Have you ever had a brain freeze? Of course... we all have!
And If you listen to us in the morning, than you know I can mix up my words frequently, but there's something SO FUNNY about watching it happen to others! (Maybe that makes me lame, but I like knowing that I'm not the only one)
Well, the Republican presidential candidates were in Michigan last night (November 9th) or a CNBC debate on the economy and Texas Governor Rick Perry had a stunning brain freeze and couldn't remember the third of three federal agencies that he wants to shut down.
I realize that I'm the ONLY guy that would say that out loud, but oh well... since I'm making non-guy statements, I might as well tell you about one of my favorite new songs.
It's From the origianl motion picture soundtrack of the "Twilight: Breaking Dawn", here's Christina Perry "A Thousand Years".
I'm calling this the equivalent to what "My Heart Will Go On" was for "Titanic".
Oh... don't forget we're giving away tickets to our Sneak Peek of this movie and giving you this soundtrack this week on Wes, Rahny & Alley so listen tomorrow (Friday, November 11th) at 7:45 a.m. to call in (414-799-1037) and win!
