Italian Water Circus Stops in Greendale

July 24, 2017

This is awesome - the first-ever "water circus" made a stop in Greendale this weekend!

Cirque Italia, also known as the Italian Water Circus, is the reason you may have seen a bunch of huge white tents in the Southridge Mall parking lot this past weekend. They are a circus act that performs with water - 35,000 gallons of it! Water is a huge part of each performance.

It differs from normal circuses in that all the performers are human, dressed up as fairies and mermaids to give the show a fantasical feel.

Unfortunately, their run in Greendale is over, but check out this link to see where Cirque Italia is headed next!
