Katy Perry might be so upset by the ending of her short-lived affair with John Mayer that she is reportedly turning down a $20 million opportunity to be a judge on American Idol. According to Us Weekly, Perry was being hotly pursued to be a judge and was originally offered $18 million and then $20 million. However, Katy has reportedly turned down the offer claiming that it is not the right time for her yet.  The rumors of Idol rejection come as John Mayer recently dropped Katy after they were reportedly dating for only a short time. Katy is reportedly not crying over her loses -- she was reportedly spotted out and about in Los Angeles over the weekend hosting a birthday party for her friend.
