When Bret Bielama quit his job as the head coach for the Badger football team, many different people wanted his job, including ordinary folk just like us! The university advertised the job on its human resources website and many dreamers put their applications in. A website has now shown some of the applicants via public records request from people who did not request anonymity. Among the applications you can find résumés for Utah State coach Gary Andersen, who wound up getting the job. Other applicants were marginally less qualified. Those include a local Walgreen's pharmacist, a recent college graduate who was the captain of his football team, a veteran FedEx driver, an executive recruiter who played one season of Division III baseball, and a lawyer who listed among his "relevant experience" the fact that he has "excelled in various fantasy baseball and football leagues." Barbara Walters took some time on Monday's episode of The View to reveal some of her picks for her annual top 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012 list. She mentioned seven of the noteworthy names who she will be sitting down with during her special airing on December 12. Though she will not announce her top pick until the special airs, the list already boasts some names that made an undeniable splash this year. Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L. James, Olympian Gabby Douglas, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie are just a few of the people she will be interviewing. When her co-hosts asked her why Honey Boo Boo wasn't mentioned, Barbara admitted that despite being 'fascinating' and a 'phenomenon' not everyone could make the list. Ben Affleck, Hilary Clinton, Seth MacFarlane, and One Direction are also on her list. Any ideas on who the Most Fascinating Person is??

Well, Derek took a chance to make fun of her and her new fiance by dressing up like them for Halloween! We were discussing this morning....turns out that the American Academy of Pediactrics says that cheerleading has become as athletic and potentially dangerous as a sport and should be considered as one in order to improve safety. They are asking school sports associations to designate cheerleading as a sport and make it subject to safety rules and better supervision, which would include on-site athletic trainers, limits on practice time, and better qualified coaches. The policy statement also says that, just like other athletes, cheerleaders should be required to do conditioning exercises and undergo physical exams before joining the squad. The number of cheerleaders injured annually has risen dramatically in the last two decades, with risks from common stunts including tossing and flipping cheerleaders and creating tall human pyramids. Do you think they should make it a sport??
