Reality TV star turned porn star Farrah Abraham checked herself into the The Lukens Institute in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on Sunday night, June 30th, for ten days of intensive counseling.
Abraham began her treatment on Monday and tweeted, "Missing my Boo Boo, but happy to get treatment in a great place :) #GoodTimesAhead."
Abraham was arrested on a DUI charge on March. After pleading guilty, the 22 year-old was sentenced to six months probation, ordered her to attend an alcohol education class and pay a $500 fine. She was also banned from consuming alcohol during her probation, her driving privileges were revoked for 60 days and she had to install an ignition interlock in her car which forces her to submit to a Breathalyzer test before she can drive.
The Teen Mom star told Radar Online, "At this time in my life I need to stay focused on the positive to get through all of the negative that a DUI has caused in my life . . . I'm 22 and I want to make better choices and ensure I can recognize when I am putting myself in a bad situation next time."
Abraham's father will watch her 4 year-old daughter, Sophia, while she's in treatment. The program allegedly costs $12,000.
