Chris Brown showed up to court yesterday in L.A. with Rihanna -- yes, the same woman that he was convicted of beating back in 2009. The singer faced allegations that he lied about completing his community service. According to TMZ, Rihanna sat in the gallery with Chris mom. Yesterday in court, the judge said that he needed more time to review all of the evidence presented by the D.A. and ordered Chris to meet with his probation officer within 48 hours. The next scheduled court hearing is for April 5th. Reports say that Chris and RiRi left the courtroom arm in arm. A source said that she smiled at Chris and tried to cheer him us as they left the building. RadarOnline reported that Rihanna showed up to court with Chris wearing the same clothes she wrote the night before. Chris Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos told the L.A. County D.A., "I have never had a client who has been tortured like Chris Brown has." He said that he wants sanctions against prosecutors an wants them held in contempt of court for filing false documents, accusing Chris of phonying his community service hours. Geragos said Rihanna showed up in court to support Chris, and she thinks it's utterly ridiculous what the D.A. is doing. Perezhilton has reported that Tappahannock Children's Center administrator Ida Minter vouched for Chris -- saying that Chris didn't lie about completing community service and she was there while he was there.
