I swear I always end up in the craziest situations! I went for my nails & ended up with a bowl of pho. Lol I haven't had good Vietnamese food since Mai's in Houston so I'm #winning right now!
FYI... Fantabulous family owned business w/ great customer service if you need your nails done in Milwaukee
1. You taught me how to play every sport known to man kind, since I was the youngest of three girls & you never had a son
2. You re-emphasized everyday that money did not grow on trees & that you would only pay me 50 cents per shirt ironed
3. You wouldn't allow certain 'ebonic' terms to even exist in my vocabulary
4. You pushed me to 'be greater.'
5. You were there
6. You never gave up on me
7. You loved & hopefully still do love me lol
Happy Father's Day!! I hate that you used to wear shorts this short & tiger striped pants with your purple T-shirt but you've come a long way since then and I love you!!
Being that my beloved Six Flags AstroWorld was ripped out of my life a few year ago, on account of local Houstonian complaints, it was refreshing to get out to Six Flags Great America this past weekend! In the summer, I guess they typically do a parade; however, this year they added a new element to the mix.
Light up the night and your life with 'igNite' peeps! lol I will say I wasn't 1000% sure what to expect, but it was definitely differen....in a good wayt! The special effects were very 2013 and awesome, and although the show was a little high school musical-ish, it was entertaining.
If you get out to Six Flags this summer, I definitely recommend sticking around till closing hours to check out the hype!
Big thanks to the event coordinators that organized the VIP media event with treats, boos and the best view in the house, because I was thirsty to get out this weekend. lol
Cheers!

I've been waiting for a while to get a close up with these guys!!! Thanks to the awesome non profit event that allowed kids to get their teeth cleaned for FREE, at Miller Park today, with DJ Willie Shakes on the 1s & 2s, the opportunity was finally made!
FYI they're great at the 'dougie' and the 'big girl shuffle'
CHEERS!

Red Lobster has been my fav since I was like 5! I mean come on....who can beat those cheddar bay biscuits?!!
They've been killing me softly these past few weeks with their shrimp & lobster pot pie commercials...seriously killing me...so I finally made my way in today to treat my taste buds!
Now, I'm not going to say it was the worst Red Lobster dish I've ever had, but it most definitely wasn't the best. The seasoning was almost missing completely and the filling didn't compliment the seafood. On the upside of things, I did order the seafood combination plate, which allowed me an extra entree. I chose the shrimp & scallops linguini & it was definitely a winner!!
I'm a firm believer in never taking someone else's taste 100% to heart because we all like different things; therefore, don't let my review deter you from even sampling the dish, but at the same time, don't be alarmed if you're just as un-impressed as I was!
Happy eating folks! :)

If you own a television or a computer, then you know that Amanda Bynes has constantly been brought up. She's been arrested for a hit and run & throwing a bong out of a window, among other things, and she's frequently seen with a super tacky wig of some sort, even when entering a court of law. YES...the stories are funny, entertaining and sometimes controversial, but how much is too much??
Harvey, from TMZ, brought up a valid argument of whether it's right or wrong to constantly blast a person who could very well have a mental condition and need serious help. Being that I work in media, I do think it's a good thing to be contious of how your words can affect someone, but in this case, I find this chick to be thirsty for attention and becoming relevant again.
Unlike a Britney Spears type, she has made every action public, attacked individuals that have no affiliation with her and done even more ridiculous things since her craziness has drawn attention. Her twitter is basically trash (yeah I said it) and her childishness is even more unattractive.
It's good to know that TMZ, as crazy as they can get, acknowledge a situation of the sort; however, I don't think this is so much about choosing not to report just because of potential illness. I think If anything, the decision to stop entertaining her foolishness, should be done to stop feeding her need for attention.
For her sake, I hope that friends and family will step up to the plate and stage an intervention to get her back on the right track. Life happens to everyone, despite your profession. What makes or breaks you is how you choose to live it...
It's really sad that we're all into 2013 and ignorance is still alive and well! People will find something wrong with just about anything, in my opinion, just to draw some attention.
Cheerios posted their 1st bi-racial family ad recently, and the commentary was so negative and racist, they had to disable the commentary section.
Almost no one, especially in this country, is "full bred" anything anymore. So why discriminate against progressive society?
Personally, I think the Cheerios ad is super cute, and it's clearly time for people to grow the f*** up and succumb to reality!
Bad choice of shoes on my part, with the grass and ants, but I had a blast today!! Thanks for coming out to kick it with me at the Sendik's Towne Centre in Brookfield! Yes....I know you were mainly there for the Dells books, but we still had a great time :)
Be sure to meet me at the Tmobile store in West Allis from 10am-12p tomorrow for another Dells stop! hey....you never know, we may have more Summerfest tix too (wink....wink)
Business meetings are always 'THE BUSINESS" because it's an excuse to do lunch somewhere you've never indulged in before!! Well.......at least that's the way my fat behind looks at it :-) BULLWINKLE'S sounds like a questionable name, I know, but the fried pickles & gyros are #WINNING in every way!
The reason my voice is shot on the radio 2night is because I hosted my 1st day party since moving to Milwaukee!! I'm still trippin on the fun we had at #TheExChange & can't wait to do it again! SHOUT OUT to my partner in crime Shavon Bean, to DJ Willie Shakes who kept the party hype, The Vx & 2012 #KISSICON winners SLowburn for their fantabulous performances & Ray Nitti for showing major love & getting extra faded lol
By the way, if you haven't tried Skyy Vodka's new flavors, including the grape moscato, you're not living!
