Charges Dropped Against Man Who Assaulted Lindsay Lohan This Weekend
A man was arrested in New York City on Sunday morning for allegedly assaulting Lindsay Lohan. Christian LaBella was arrested on two misdemeanor counts of assault and two charges of harassment -- however they were later dropped. EOnline.com claims that the charges were dropped after it was determined that no crime was committed. Lindsay's rep said in response, "It's both distressing and outrageous . . . and there should be a consequence for that." TMZ.com reported that the alleged assault occurred after Lohan confronted LaBella about taking pictures of her on his camera phone. Sources say the two met at the club 1 Oak, and LaBella and several of Lindsay's friends later joined her in a hotel room. The two got into an argument after Lindsay noticed him taking pictures, after which LaBella allegedly "threw her on the bed causing scratches on her hands." TMZ reported that Lohan initially fled the room, but when she returned, LaBellla "attacked her, choked her, threw her to the ground, and climbed on top of her." Insiders say that friends were able to pull him off of her, at which time Lohan pulled the fire alarm to get help. Although LaBella attempted to flee, cops were able to make the arrest.
