Owen was supposed to be a lion for Halloween this year, but then my mom informed me she couldn't find the costume(which she had made for my nephew a few years ago).  So, I went to the store and this was the last costume they had!  So here's my little bear!

Well, Owen turned one yesterday!  He had a fun day going out to breakfast with grandpa, then spending the rest of the day with mommy.  At night he went out to dinner with mommy and daddy and I guess it was all too much for him because he passed out in the car ride home so we just let him sleep in his clothes.  There he is below...clearly exhausted from his 1st birthday! 

I'm totally into "Married To Jonas" on E!  Yes, it's true.  I like it and can't stop watching it.  Shhhh...don't tell anyone! 

 

So we had Owen's 1st birthday party this weekend and I found these adorable pumpkin rice krispie treats on Pinterest!  So I made them and they actually came out okay.  It didn't go so well at first(as you can see in the picture) but once we figured out the food coloring we were good to go!  To get the recipe, click here! 

It turns out that Rahny and I were both on the Gym Class Heroes Behind the Music on VH1 Sunday night interviewing Katy Perry about her relationship with Travie McCoy, the lead singer!  Who knew!  We had no idea but it was still pretty cool.  Fell free to DVR it and see our 3 seconds of fame!

Well, I thought I did a pretty awesome job carving my pumpkins with my neice and nephew last weekend, but it appears I may have done them too early because I don't think they are gonna make it to Halloween!!  BOOOO!

Had a blast last weekend at Basse's Pumpkin Farm in Colgate.  It was Owen's first trip to the pumpkin patch!   He especially loved the hayride...

Yea, I don't care if it is only October....these things are the bomb so I made some yesterday.  Peanut blossoms=best holiday cookie ever!!
